To answer the core research question- how does spatial storytelling in 360-degree virtual environments enhance the documentary experience for authentic witnessing compared to 2D traditional documentary formats? How is the personal memory story best structured, created and then told in 360-degree virtual reality immersive spaces? My research will investigate my narrative structure from viewpoints, sound, and scene design elements by using personal memory practices to answer research questions.
